Baby Blood donors provide whole blood or pheresis platelet products for special procedures, often on a moment’s notice. Nearly 200 baby heart surgeries are conducted annually at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma. Our Baby Blood program members provide the special products that are needed to support these surgeries.
