Pierce College in Lakewood stepped up and duplicated the great results that Pierce College Puyallup had a couple of weeks earlier. Andrea Ehlis was the drive coordinator and did a great job of encouraging students and faculty to donate during this drive.
The college sponsored a two day drive and exceeded their goal of 25 donors on both days. The first day they registered 29 donors and the second they registered another 26. The totals units collected during this drive are the largest number collected in several years.
Thanks to Andrea and everyone at Pierce College for their efforts and the great results. The support for Cascade Regional Blood Services and our community blood supply is always needed and appreciated. The units collected at their drive will directly help patients in need at our area community hospitals.
