The Curtis High School Key Club, under the direction of their advisor, Renee Verona, put together the fall blood drive at their school. The Key Club has been organizing the drives at CHS for many years. Their Key Club is very active and always has an abundance of volunteers to help organize and recruit donors. They also provided great support on the day of the drive.
Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, Terry Jenks, is instrumental in setting up drives. He provides support throughout the planning process and during the drives. His commitment to CRBS and our community is appreciated and an important part of every drive at CHS.
During this first drive of the new school year, 81 students and staff participated. Thanks for the great support given to CRBS and the hospitals in our community that rely on the participation of groups like this one at Curtis. We are looking forward to our next drive on March 25.
Members of the Curtis High School Key Club helped recruit 131 donors, which set a record this year! Students rallied to make this fall’s blood drive the best ever. Photos below were submitted by an officer of the Key Club.
